We got our first Bedlington terrier over six years ago after looking for an ‘allergy-friendly’ type of dog that doesn’t shed hair.  Alfie turned out to be a great friend for all the family and quite a character!

Millie  – who is a ‘Liver’ Bedlington arrived over two years ago from the same breeder (Jan Gillies) with Millie having the same Dad but different Mum.  It has proved to be a great move as they keep each other company on walks and in the garden.  Alfie is not full so we went in search for a Sire and Jan put us in touch with Colina in Aberdeenshire who has Hagan and like Alfie – is a ‘Blue’ Bedlington.

We recently got a kitten and this was looking to be doomed, however the kitten won them over and is now the boss of the animals in the house – which was unexpected!  Alfie now is happy cleaning the cat, which is amusing!
